the gang decided that we shouldn't keep meeting up to just EAT. so we needa do something more constructive. therefore it was decided tat we shld go to the museum!! pple must be thinking "who e hell will wana go museum??", just like i'm amazed when pple tell me they're gg to the botanic gardens. but at least museum got aircon la!!





then we met up with ying for dinner at this thai restuarant at marina square. i've not drank such nice tom yam soup since i came back from bangkok!!


followed by dessert at the prive at keppel bay.

it's "BACK TO DUNMAN DAY"!! sad to say, we haven been back to dunman ever since the day we graduated, which was like 7 yrs ago?? just nice kak was playing for alumni band so we decided to support her n shun bian go back to take some photos. dhs canteen has 16 stores OMG!!

GOTEMBA PREMIUM OUTLETS

took a 100mins ride to gotemba premium outlets in search of cheaper stuffs but in e end i didn't buy anything!! wasted my 6 hrs and S$45 for e ride la!! it was a rather boring day lol. it feels so xin ku not to buy stuffs la.





finally shopped in shinjuku. as in really shopped, not just walk ard see see only. didn't realise tat shinjuku has all e shops tat we were looking for at harajuku & shibuya.



my dinner was baked omelette rice with seafood. singapore omelette rice all bluff pple one la, inside all fried rice. this is like e real authentic super duper yummy omelette rice i've ever tasted in my entire life!!

ODAIBA - SHIBUYA

did some quick shopping at shinjuku and had okonomiyaki for lunch. we get to cook it ourselves! ^.^ i swear i've never ever eaten so much vege in my whole life la. omg thinking back i wana puke alrd. dun get me wrong la, it's not tat e food is not nice, it's just tat thinking back on how much vege i've eaten, i just cannot believe it n e thot of putting another cabbage in my mouth makes me wana puke lol.





den we headed to odaiba to see the rainbow bridge and little hongkong. we had to take the ginza line to shimbashi & change to another dunno-wad-line to daiba. took us 1hr & S$8 to reach there.

ASAKUSA - IKEBUKURO

e plan for the day was to visit asakusa followed by shopping at ikebukuro. asakusa was mainly to see the temple la. managed to buy some souvenirs there as well.



didn't shop for long at ikebukuro cos the shops re almost identical to those at shinjuku n shibuya la.


qy decided tat she wanted to eat okonomiyaki agn so i accompanied her lo. rem i can't put another cabbage in my mouth la!!

the whole day was basically eat eat eat. board plane - eat. transit at hk - eat. board plane - eat again. no photos cos i overslept AGAIN & i had no time to put makeup so i look like shit.

i will definitely go back to tokyo & i will definitely visit tokyo disneyland again!! ^.^

krispy kreme-d for breakfast. IT'S FABULOUS!! how come sg dun have!!


finally reached after a 50min ride. luckily we got our tix b4 hand so we just needa queue to get in. let the photos speak for themselves ^.^

SINGAPORE - TOKYO

it was gonna be a tiring day cos we'll be spending our whole day on e plane cos there'll be a transit at hongkong airport. the flight from sg to hk was full compared to the flight from hk to tokyo, which was rather empty tat we can have a whole row to ourselves!! i wana say i love cathay meals!! none of the meals disappointed me but the sad thing is there's no more icecream :( we were given timtam instead. plus the tv kept showing e same shows n playing e same songs n there were no much choices la. i hope SIA will be better when i take it in june :)

HARAJUKU - SHINJUKU

we were supposed to wake up early to prepare to go to some temples but i overslept n qy dun dare to wake me up!! LOL she said i looked fierce when i was slping so when i finally woke up, she alrd had all her makeup on haha. so in e end we skipped e temple n went to harajuku for some shopping instead.

shopping in tokyo streets is a tiring chore but luckily we can always sit at e side of e road. after conquering almost 1/2(?) of harajuku, our legs couldn't take us any further so we decided to return to shinjuku for dinner.

we even had to take photo of the map at the JR station becos there were like sooo many exits.


pork katsu for dinner!!! OMG so fat, juicy & tender!!! u will NEVER NEVER EVER find this in singapore la. singapore one all thin thin one & very hard la, like the one at sushi tei yucks!! BUT why must they always serve such a huge portion of lettuce leh?! mine was always left untouched at e end of e day la. waste space.


walked from isetan to takashimaya to buy our tickets for disneyland. the walk back to hotel was merely 5 minutes but it was a cold n long walk. the breeze was blowing n blowing n i love it!!! if only singapore is as cooling.

met my fav girls for dinner on friday cos bl was requesting for relaxing session lol. had class till 5.30 den waited for wx to end her class b4 proceeding to e airport :) we've nv been to e airport tgt i think? i love e airport la! gg there gives me an urge to go holiday! kak keep wanting to join in the check-in queue lol. we had dinner @ T2 sakae sushi & we kept testing the smile-detection function with my new cam! IT WAS SO FUNNY CAN! somehow e cam initially only managed to detect kak's smile. den she gave lotsa stupid reasons to explain this phenomenon. luff until my jaws so suan.





after dinner we took e skytrain to T3 n went to tour ard & take photos.





den we went to e big GIANT at tamp to buy magnums! buy 1 get 1 free leh! we're turning into aunties lol!

1stly is spending new year's eve with my fav girls! we planned for a gathering at my hse & we're supposed to bring our own food & oso bake a cake!

had dinner with june at tony roma's one friday evening after my biz mod.
i rem tat day there was huge jam & i was complaining throughout e car ride cos i was freaking hungry! haha (:

she can't be bothered with me la lol.
den we saw an advert by bakerzin & went to buy some macarons for $1 each.
they looked nice but i think they're too sweet for me lo.

went to natas fair @ expo last friday with wx & kak to get some itineraries & brochures. e queue was crazy la but luckily pauline was there early so we get to cut queue!! lol. den bl joined us for dinner at bugis. we dined at MOF n e unagi sushi was WOW!!

It has been a week since you left us, but I still miss you so much. I am sorry I did not catch your last breath. I hope that after all the things we did for you, you can leave in peace and be happy in the place that you are in now.

I remembered when I was young, you always bring the 3 of us to macdonalds on sundays, followed by praying at the temple. You always buy present for me on your birthday. When I had chicken pox, you told me that if I drink the medicine you'll buy present for me. When I was in primary 6, I had remedial classes everyday and you'll come and fetch me.

I made it a point to accompany you to see the doctor every week because I know at that point that we'll never know how much longer you'll be with us, so I want to spend every possbile time left with you. I am sorry that I had to do my internship and couldn't spend more time with you. But I am relieved that I need not have to go to school during the vacation so I can accompany you in the hospital.

Mummy, you spent the last 2 months of your life in the hospital. I know you wanted to come home badly. If we know that you were going, we would've brought you home. Seriously speaking, I never thought you would go so soon because on the afternoon before you left, the doctor says that you'll have about 3-6 months left. That evening, after we had dinner at ah gong's house, we went to see you straight away. After I parked the car, Ruby and me walked very quickly to the ward. I still remembered I was telling Ruby that I can't feel my legs cos they're so wobbly. Then we received a call from Cheryl that your heart stopped beating. We rushed to your ward immediately and everyone was crying badly. I don't know why I couldn't cry out loud. I was just shedding tears. I was hoping for a miracle. Or rather I should say, I have been hoping for a miracle ever since they day you were hospitalised. However, there was no miracles. At all.

There'll be no more birthdays with you around. There'll be no more Mothers' Day celebration. There'll be no more holidays with you. There'll be no more family photos. There'll be no late night chattings with you. There'll be no Chinese New Year with you. There'll be no arguments with you. There'll be no more scoldings from you.

i'm so sadded that my hk trip is spoiled cos of my stupid internship presentation which i din even noe it existed.
but at least my bangkok trip is still on!!
hope we can take lotsa photos n most importantly...buy lotsa stuffs!!!
i really love shopping la it's such an achievement to buy many many stuffs ^_^
